  1968 Brooklyn NY, Santo Emanuele, a decorated WWII Vet, recognized a growing trend in the NYC restaurant scene. With experience in the grocery and dairy industry, Santo sought to develop new flavors of ice cream to appeal to the burgeoning NYC Japanese restaurant trade. Green Tea,  Red Bean & Ginger were developed & Mr. Green Tea was born. 


    Now in its third generation, Mr. Green Tea is still family owned & we continue to handcraft our exotic desserts using only the highest quality ingredients. Today, you can find our products being served in thousands of the finest restaurants & on the shelves of your favorite grocery stores across the country.
